Mission Outreach here at First United Methodist Church includes both local and long distance missions. We support and help staff the local food pantry. We contribute to local mission needs in the state and across the nation. Several members have gone on mission trips abroad, even medical missions.

A more recent addition has been a joint venture with neighboring United Methodist Churches sending a Mission Team to Rio Bravo, Mexico.

Every fall we participate in Operation Christmas Child through Samaritan's Purse sending Christmas gifts around the world to needy children.
